What is YourLi.st?
Have you ever wanted to be reminded of an upcoming event? Be it a birthday, important meeting, eBay auction ending or just a simple reminder to buy bread and milk?
You tell us the date and time you want reminded and we'll send you an email in advance of that date.
No sign-up. No registration. No fee. No social network. Just Use it!
Your Privacy
We value your privacy very seriously. An email address is a precious thing and should not be taken for granted. We don't expect our email addresses to be abused anymore than you do.
We only ask for your email address in the persuit of providing you with an alert service. If we didn't then how could we email you?!
Upon successful creation of a reminder, we do set a small client side cookie called, "yourlistemail". This is used only by the client side javascript to save you from having to type in your email address again if you wish to create another reminder. Feel free to delete it if you wish. We do not do any session tracking or monitoring of the service. We record your IP address with the reminder. This is to allow us to actively track potential abusers of the system.
After your event has passed and we've sent you all the email alerts, we completely remove all traces of your event from our system. There is absolutely NO POINT in us holding this information.
We employ lots of different techniques to evade potential abusers of the system. If you feel you have received an email in error, and wish it to stop, then we provide a permanent ban service. You activate this by clicking on the link inside the email. We will then take your email address, encrypt it, and add it to our permanently banned list. We don't keep a useable raw version of your email address. If you feel this was error, or wish to change your mind, then you can re-activate your email by visiting here.
At present we offer no premium, or sign-up, services. If and when we do, you will be clearly advised of the data that we are retaining regarding your account.
